Arisa shares about the start of her career at LVMH
Arisa’s journey at LVMH began at the talent program DARE in Tokyo. Shortly after she began an internship at the Holding in the Media Coordination and Research team. She followed this role with a second internship in Louis Vuitton's Marketing Team before joining LVMH in a permanent position as Loewe's Marketing Coordinator. Then she was promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager.
What is DARE and how did it guide your career decisions?
DARE Tokyo is a three-day long international talent development program in Tokyo where talents from different Maisons and functions in the APAC region gather to pitch and develop innovative ideas. Connecting with people who have built such unique career paths was a true eye-opener. It helped me understand that there are infinite possibilities at LVMH. I got the impression that at LVMH one designs their own career path rather than choosing one.
Can you describe your typical workday as a Loewe Assistant Marketing Manager?
Every day is very different, which makes my work always interesting! I usually respond to urgent situations and smaller tasks first, and then focus on more time-consuming items related to campaign planning, such as creating briefs, allocating which visuals to use on which channels, etc.
How would you define the environment and culture in which you work?
My team's culture is very collaborative, proactive and nimble. We support each other to always challenge ourselves and keep growing.
Could you share some tips for students interested in joining LVMH and Luxury?
Be open-minded and flexible toward opportunities even if they don’t present themselves at the time and form envisioned. Be proactive in connecting and building relationships with as many people as you can within the Group.
