Focus on Creative Capital: Designing Purposeful Growth

LVMH and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have launched "VOICES OF IMPACT," a video series featuring leaders in sustainable fashion and luxury.

Released in honor of Earth Week, the series features conversations on sustainability in the fashion industry. It aims to highlight creative solutions and engage diverse perspectives on key actual topics like biodiversity, circularity, and climate action.

This initiative aligns with LVMH's commitment to environmental standards, as part of its LIFE 360 program. “LVMH is proud to partner with the CFDA to amplify important conversations on sustainability in the fashion and luxury goods industry” Hélène Valade, Environment Development Director of LVMH said. “LVMH strongly believes that environmental performance is a source of innovation, creativity and excellence, and that it must be considered in all design and manufacturing processes.”

Now let’s discover the fifth topic of the series: Creative Capital - Designing Purposeful Growth

Hear from Gigi Burris (Gigi Burris & Closely Crafted) and Maria Cornejo (Zero + Maria Cornejo) who are each revered for charting new, enduring frontiers as creative practitioners.

Moderated by Gena Smith (LVMH), this conversation portrays collective journeys of balancing brand stability, growth, and creative goals with an ESG quadruple bottom line (people, purpose, planet, profit) and aligning brand/business strategy to a blended financial, social, human and natural capital value system.
