Discover Pranjal's dynamic career across LVMH Maisons

Pranjal was introduced to LVMH through DARE Tokyo. He was a Client Advisor intern at Loewe, then later became a High-End Retail intern at Bulgari before joining the team at RIMOWA where he is currently an E-commerce Specialist.

What are your main missions as an E-commerce Specialist at RIMOWA?

My mission is to boost RIMOWA's e-commerce business in Japan by ensuring smooth operations not only online, but also at an omnichannel level. This requires the collaboration of multiple departments during the launch of new products, the roll-out of new projects or everyday operations.

What do you enjoy most in your current position?

In this fast-paced environment, every day brings new challenges, but I love taking them on and coming up with new and creative solutions. Seeing the impact of my work is what I like most!

Can you share with us one project or achievement you worked on?

The most memorable one to me is “Re-Crafted”. Japan was the second country to launch this project, which allows customers to bring their old RIMOWA aluminium suitcases to selected stores and receive a gift voucher in exchange for a new one. While the work was challenging, it was equally rewarding because it touched upon aspects of luxury that are important to me — the journey of the product and sustainability. In the “Re-Crafted” project, we gather pre-loved suitcases, refurbish them, and resell them for the next traveler. Giving it somewhat of a new life really resonates with the timelessness of RIMOWA suitcases.

Which soft skills would you recommend as important for this role?

Some soft skills that are definitely beneficial are good time management and attention to detail. Effective communication where you can articulate your thoughts well is also extremely helpful as the work includes collaborating with multiple departments or the HQ.
