Two talents share how internal mobility shaped their journeys across LVMH

At LVMH, internal mobility takes many forms by discovering another Maison, function or geography, and evolving into new responsibilities and environment.

Discover two inspiring stories that illustrate the unparalleled LVMH career playground: Roman Rigaut, who transitioned from a Finance background at Moët Hennessy to a Business Development role at Veuve Clicquot, and Louise Del Rosario Martin, who moved from CHANDON’s Brand Home in Australia to a global role in Paris.

ROMAN RIGAUT
Business Development Manager, Veuve Clicquot
From Finance background at Moët Hennessy to a Business Management role at Veuve Clicquot

Can you describe your current responsibilities?
I ensure that Veuve Clicquot’s commercial strategy is implemented effectively and seamlessly across APAC Domestic, Global Travel Retail and Private Sales. My role connects the Maison’s long-term vision with the operational reality of the markets.

What motivated you to move from Finance into Business Development, and how did you approach the change?
After 14 years in finance, I was looking for a new opportunity to broaden my perspective. Leading projects that connected finance with commercial teams sparked my interest in business development. With support from my manager, I started networking across different departments, and when the opportunity at Veuve Clicquot came up, I was ready to make the leap.

How did you get ready for the transition, and what was it like when you began at Veuve Clicquot?
I had open conversations with HR and colleagues from various backgrounds to get a sense of what the transition would involve. Moving from a mid-size market to a large Maison was both exciting and a little intimidating, but a thorough handover and the welcoming atmosphere in the Paris office helped me get up to speed quickly.

What do you feel you have gained from your internal mobility, both professionally and personally?
It’s been an opportunity to leverage my finance skills in a very different environment. I’m no longer the technical expert I was previously, but business development complements those experiences and lets me add value to the commercial teams. This move has also given me insights into the whole Moët Hennessy ecosystem, which is a real advantage as you grow your career here.

What advice would you give on preparing for a professional next step?

Take the time to talk to people who inspire you and learn from their experiences. Build a strong network and don’t hesitate to ask for advice or feedback. Most importantly, trust your instincts and remain open to exploring new opportunities – they can be incredibly rewarding ways to foster your professional growth.

LOUISE DEL ROSARIO MARTIN
Global Club & CRM Manager, CHANDON
From Yarra Valley to Paris, shaping global customer experience

Can you briefly describe your current role?
I support the growth of Club CHANDON in the US and Australia and help build a global omnichannel CRM approach. My daily work consists of working with our six Brand Homes and key markets to strengthen our systems, data and client communications.

Can you describe your journey from Australia to France and how your role evolved?
I started at CHANDON’s Brand Home in the Yarra Valley, managing our Wine Club and connecting directly with customers. My passion for international experience grew, and after joining the LVMH Mentor Me program, I realized I wanted to take my career global. The international aspect of Moët Hennessy has always attracted me. I reached out to HR and managers to discuss my goals and explored roles through internal channels. Shortly after, I found a new opportunity in Paris, where I now develop CRM strategies for CHANDON worldwide.

What were your first days like in Paris and how did your team help you adapt?
My first days in the Paris office were a mix of awe and excitement. Fortunately, I already knew the brand and its values well, and the team welcomed me warmly, living up to one of CHANDON’s core values: everyone is welcome at our table. This spirit of support made me feel at home right from the start.

What challenges did you face settling into your new environment, and how did you overcome them?
Moving to a new country was thrilling, and profesionnally, I felt genuinely supported and empowered to grow. On the personal level, the challenge was finding a sense of home far from my support network. I learned to be more open about accepting help, and the CHANDON team regularly checked in on me. Their support was key.
