Beginning a career in Manufacturing

Please introduce yourself in a few words

My name is Mouloud, and I am currently working at LVMH Fragrance Brands as a Manufacturing Manager.

Could you tell us more about your career path at LVMH Fragrance Brands?

Since I joined LVMH Fragrance Brands in 2019, I have experienced 2 departments, held 4 positions, and worked with hundreds of passionate employees who are proud of our Maison.

I started as an intern in the Quality Department at the Beauvais site in my last year of engineering school. I wasn’t afraid to express my ambition or my willingness to develop to my managers, and they were truly supportive, giving me assignments and projects that matched my competencies and career goals. Thus, following my first mission in Equipment Qualification control, I was able to move on to an interim manager's role in one of our packaging workshops.

My motivation to continue at LVMH Fragrance Brands resulted in being hired as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, a transition role before I got my permanent position as a Manager in charge of the packaging workshop, which I have held since September 2021.

What are your daily missions, and do you have any projects you would like to talk about?

In more than 2 years at LVMH Fragrance Brands, the one that was extremely challenging and enriching was a project I undertook concerning the regulatory compliance of our equipment and processes. I participated in the acquisition of new systems, managed a whole workshop team as well as the production, animated the performance, followed the launching of new products and many other aspects.

How would you define working there?

I have always been driven by my wish to undertake, innovate and manage meaningful projects. This entrepreneurial spirit comes out instinctively at LVMH Fragrance Brands because you are given various responsibilities and a great deal of autonomy.

Do you have any tips for future talents aiming to join LVMH Fragrance Brands?

To find your way and grow at LVMH Fragrance Brands, you must be open to the opportunities that come your way, be curious and interested in the people around you and their jobs.

Know how to express your willingness and ambitions while remaining focused and dedicated to your projects. Don't hesitate to take on subjects that are important to you and your work environment.

Finally, communication and team spirit are the most important qualities in this world because it is your entourage and your team that will help you make progress, both in your way of working and in your development.
